Compliance and Risk Control Manager
This position reports to La Habra, CA Corporate Headquarters.
As a Compliance/Risk Control Manager you will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of risks and the selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing, or eliminating identifiable risk for the Credit Union. You can look forward to assisting in the development of administration, updating and maintenance of the Credit Union’s compliance monitoring program and internal audit process. In addition assist with assessing Credit Union’s corporate and individual adherence and aptitude to various laws, regulations and policies, especially in the arena of the mortgage sector.
The successful candidate MUST have the following qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience in the field of audit and compliance. Recent credit union or banking experience preferred.
- 3 or more year management experience in managing financial operations, regulatory compliance and personnel policies.
- Advanced knowledge of financial operations, products, services and membership bylaws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of operating, mortgage, underwriting and consumer lending functions and the laws and regulations which apply to financial institutions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to include the ability to define problems, collect data,draw valid conclusions and provide workable recommendations and solutions.
- Understand cost accounting concepts and conduct regression analytics and other statistical analysis on loan portfolios.
- Strong excel, PowerPoint and database skill sets
- Proven leadership abilities including excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Business Development Supervisor
Position reports to our La Habra, CA corporate headquarters. As a Business Development Supervisor you will look forward to achieving and exceeding business development and growth goals within designated communities throughout Orange County in support of the Credit Union’s Strategic Plan.
You will be responsible for increasing membership penetration in Select Employee Groups (SEGs) within current and new territories, recruiting new SEGs, establishing “Ambassadors” in new and existing SEGs and building sound interpersonal relationships with all membership groups.You can look forward to continuously researching and identifying potential leads to cultivate for business development.
The successful candidate MUST have the following qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience as a business development officer with demonstrated skills in building account relationships. Recent credit union or banking experience preferred.
- Two or more years experience in management, with proven experience in coaching, counseling, directing, leading, organizing and implement of performance goals.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of effective, needs-based sales.
- Advanced knowledge of financial operations, products, services and membership bylaws and regulations.
- Proven leadership abilities including excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have a current driver’s license, proof of insurance, and evidence of a safe driving record and be able to provide own transportation; travel locally, on a regular basis.
