What does “Signature-Based Purchases ” mean?

To put it simply, when you’re paying for your purchases, select the “credit” option. You’ll be asked to sign your purchase receipt – hence the term “signature-based transaction.”

*All rewards will be credited to your checking account on the last calendar day of each month. Account must be open and in good standing on the last calendar day of each month in order to qualify for rewards. Total rewards may not exceed $250 per calendar year.

Direct deposit and eStatements are required to participate in this program. Members who choose not to have both direct deposit and eStatements will be subject to a monthly fee as disclosed in the Schedule of Fees.

To sign up for direct deposit, please contact the payroll department of your employer.

To enroll in eStatements, log in to Home Banking and click the eStatements tab. Accept the disclosures and you will begin receiving your Credit Union statements via email immediately.

Rewards Checking is administered at the sole discretion of American First Credit Union. American First Credit Union may, at any time, choose to suspend, modify or permanently eliminate its Rewards Checking Account program without notice to program participants.
