Credit Union Employees Donate Holiday Gifts
La Habra, Calif., December 24th, 2007— American First Credit Union employees organized their fourth annual Angel Tree gift campaign to collect gifts for the children and teens of the Crittenton Services for Family and Children. The Angel Tree, filled with gift tags and wish lists, was displayed in American First Credit Union’s La Habra corporate office and employees could voluntarily choose a gift tag for the recipient of their choice. Nearly 150 employees donated gifts including blankets, shoes, games, baby items and toys for the abused and neglected children.
American First Credit Union’s “Spirit of Service” committee, who organized the Angel Tree gift campaign, coordinates numerous community outreach events to benefit the Orange County community throughout the year.
“The Angel Tree campaign is just one example of the many ways our employees give back to the community we serve,” said Bob Street, American First President/CEO. “We are incredibly pleased their efforts to donate more than 150 presents will brighten the spirits of so many children this holiday season.”
