Credit Union Employees Donate Record Number of Holiday Gifts

La Habra, Calif., December 15, 2008— American First Credit Union employees organized their fifth annual Angel Tree gift campaign to collect gifts for the children and teens of the Crittenton Services for Family and Children.  The Angel Tree, filled with gift tags and wish lists, was displayed in American First Credit Union’s La Habra corporate office and employees voluntarily selected a gift tag for the recipient of their choice.  Approximately 75 employees donated more than 100 gifts including pajamas, shoes, gift cards and toys for the abused and neglected children.

“The Angel Tree campaign is a five-year tradition at American First and this year was our largest donation on record,” said Bob Street, American First President/CEO. “Special thanks goes to our thoughtful employees who organize this event each year, and to all of our employees who made generous donations to help brighten the holidays for so many children this year.”

American First Credit Union (AFCU) is a member-owned, full-service financial cooperative established in 1952.
