The global outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve and disrupt many aspects of our way of life. American First Credit Union is here to help our valuable members like you. The Credit Union is financially strong with dedicated employees committed to serve. We are reaching out to you to share ways we can help you during these challenging times.

Digital Banking Services  You can securely access your account at any time from home using online banking or mobile banking services. These services allow you to view transactions, check balances, make account transfers, pay bills, and more. You can also make loan payments for Credit Cards, Holiday Loans, Signature Loans, Personal Lines of Credit, Auto Loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Mortgage Loans and Commercial Real Estate Loans via our website.

Access to Cash — There are 30,000 no fee ATMs available to you throughout the country via the CO-OP ATM network, in addition to the ATMs at our branch locations. You can also get cash back when using your debit card for purchases. Map of locations

Direct Deposit — Direct deposit allows you to have the amount of your paycheck placed directly into your American First account. No need to come to the branch to deposit your paycheck. Give your employer the attached form to setup direct deposit. Direct Deposit Form

Branches — Our branches are available during regular hours to serve you. The new Harbor & Imperial branch is also open on Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The branches have hand sanitizer available and use disinfectant wipes on common areas. All associates have been informed of best health practices recommended by the CDC.


Branch Notice: If you cannot complete your financial transaction using online or mobile banking, our branches remain open to serve you. Please kindly respect our branch rules of engagement set forth to keep members and associates safe during COVID-19.

1. If you are sick or feeling unwell, please refrain from entering the branch.
2. We can only assist one person per member service representative at a time.
3. Each branch is enforcing limited capacities depending on branch size. If the branch has exceeded their capacity, we ask that you wait outside.

The celebration of the opening of our new Harbor & Imperial branch scheduled for March 21 has been postponed. The branch is still open to serve you.

Some associates at our Brea Headquarters have been dispersed to other locations as an abundance of caution to reduce the density at any one place. This lessens the risk of the virus spreading and member service being impacted. We have also asked our associates to curtail business travel to reduce the likelihood the virus is brought into the workplace.
